Notes is a voice-to-text note-taking app. Its core design principle is that your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no server of ours that it talks to.
Transcribed notes are stored only in the app's private local storage on your device. They are never uploaded or synced anywhere. Deleting a note in the app, or uninstalling the app, permanently removes it. Text is placed on your clipboard only when you tap Copy.
The only network activity is a one-time download of the speech-recognition model files from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr and Hugging Face) the first time the engine loads. Like any web download, those services see standard connection metadata such as your IP address; no audio, notes, or other personal content is ever transmitted. After the model is cached, transcription works fully offline.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, social features, or external content.
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before the change ships.
